AHRC faces financial strain

 Athens-Hocking Recycling Center Inc., or AHRC, is facing financial difficulties following the loss of its service contract with the City of Athens.

Although he’s running on a Democratic platform, Faber said he believes his campaign can garner bipartisan support because the issues he’s focused on affect those on both sides of the political spectrum. His campaign strategy is focused on three things: food insecurity, housing insecurity and healthcare costs.

University services partner, promote general wellness

Well-Being and Recreation and Counseling and Psychological Services partnered to create a new wellness space for students’ relaxation and recovery. The space, which is yet to be named, is expected to be unveiled at the beginning of the 2024 Fall Semester. In preparation for the space, the Ping Recreation Center is demoing three new pieces of equipment from Wellness Space Brands.
