About once a year on Depths of Music, I indulge the urge to be a hater and talk about an album that particularly gets under my skin. This year, I needed some help, so I recruited the best hater I know, my girlfriend Ashley, to talk about the newest album from Michigan rapper NF, HOPE. Did this album live up to our hype for it, well, it was exactly as bad as we thought, so yes, in a way it did.
Cassie and Nicholas talk about how their first fest experience was. Along with how mom's weekend went for both of them.
Pop punk legends fall out boy return to the limelight on their new studio album. After one of the most disappointing albums in pop punk, is So Much (For) Stardust enough to bring the band back to the quality we know them for? How had a pandemic and a pop punk revival shaped one of the biggest names in the genre?
You know the drill at this point, we're taking our semi-annual (or whenever I want to fish for views) look at music by kids for kids. The biggest hits of last year, covered by children, and it gets weird.
Today on the Depths of Music podcast, Paramore returns from their largest gap between studio album with This is Why. After being together for almost 20 years and inspiring a whole new generation of artists, what are Hayley, Zac and Taylor going to bring to the table in 2023? Are they going to stick to the sound that made the famous, or will they continue with their musical experimentation, taking them into uncharted territory for the band? We're tackling all of that and more as we review "This is Why.”
Cassie and Nick talk about the post date party, the superbowl, music and more. Join them in listening to their wild lives.
We’re recapping and reviewing the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show with Rihanna. Was Rhianna able to carry the entirety of a Super Bowl halftime show by herself and does this set list pay proper tribute to her legendary career? Tune in to find out.
Nick and Cassie talk about sibs weekend, voices on court, guilty pleasure tv shows, and more. Tune in to find out what is going on in their lives.

A piece of tile on a plaque that says "Hitler stood here" is going to be on display in Alden Library's Ryan Room. It was a gift from WWII war correspondent and famous news anchor Walter Cronkite to his friend Cornelius Ryan who also reported on the war. He sent him a note that says it is from Hitler's bunker. The authenticity of the tile is disputed because the note is the only evidence of it being from the bunker. People working on the Ryan Room describe it as a fun object and hope it brings people to view everything else on display. That includes questionnaires from the war and other war artifacts. They hope to open by the end of the semester or by June 6 for the anniversary of D-Day. Video by: Donovan Hunt, Nicholas Kobe and Owen McDermott
