Ohio University's director of the School of Media Arts and Studies has announced he will resign at the end of next month.
Roger Cooper, who has been director for six years, said in an email to students that he will step down to teach full time.
Cooper said he was very appreciative of the positive attitude students brought to the school.
"More than anything, I want you to know that the greatest joy in my professional life is the opportunity to interact with you in and outside the classroom," he wrote.
"This feeling will not change as I change roles."
