It's inauguration day; Police investigating west side shooting

Here’s what you need to know for Friday, Jan. 20, 2016:

Today is the day. 

At 12:00 p.m. today, Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 45th President of the United States. You can watch it live on any major news network, including Fox, CNN and ABC. The White House's website will stream the event.

The Athens, OH Socialists are planning to protest the event at the Athens County Courthouse (The Post). Several local political organizations have co-signed the protest, and at least 125 people have said via Facebook they'll be attending. 

One group of OU students is traveling to D.C. this weekend to participate in what could be the largest anti-Trump protest to date. The protest's organizers said they expect 200,000 to participate, according to The New York Times.
