Good morning,

After receiving criticisms on the app’s accessibility, Snapchat will be updating their app by separating users’ social and media feeds through categorizing their relationships.

A video release by the company explained that Chats and Stories from friends will soon be accessible by swiping to the left side of the app. Users’ friends page will also be displaying the order of friends based on the amount of communication between the two. On the other hand, Stories from publishers, creators and the Snapchat community will be on the right side of the app.

The update will be launched among a “small percentage” of users this week, but the official date for a worldwide update has yet to be announced.
