Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) is one step closer to telling Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) she’s pregnant on Grey’s Anatomy.
Teddy made another appearance on the episode after a sudden departure in the season premiere. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) found Teddy sitting in the park watching children, which would be creepy if this weren’t a television show. Meredith brought Teddy back to her house and talked about motherhood.
The two were never really close back when Teddy was head of cardio. That could be attributed to the fact Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) was Teddy’s competition. Meredith and Teddy made quite the pair in the episode, though. If Meredith can be a good mother, so can Teddy.
“I don’t hate Owen; I love him,” Teddy said.
Meredith pointed out to Teddy that Owen deserves to know about the baby because he could be a really good father, even if Owen and Teddy don’t become a couple. Owen is currently hooking up with his ex-wife Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone).
In the promo for next week, it appears Teddy finally tells Owen about the pregnancy, which likely happened when he visited her in Germany.
