WARNING: This article contains spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War.

We knew the Avengers were in trouble from the finale of Avengers: Infinity War, but we never expected the endgame.

Marvel released the first official trailer for the fourth installment of the Avengers franchise, and fans are going crazy.

In addition to the new trailer, they’ve also decided to push the release date up to April 26 instead of their previously decided date of May 4, and they officially named this movie Avengers: Endgame

When we last left the Avengers, antagonist Thanos (Josh Brolin) wiped out 50 percent of the human population, including half of the Avengers team. The wipe out included, but was not limited to, Vision (Paul Bettany), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). The losses were devastating to the Avengers team and left us to wonder what happened to those who are still alive.

The first hints are in the new trailer, which opens with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) recording a message for his love interest, Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), as he is drifting through space. Out of food and water, and quickly running out of oxygen, things don’t look good for one of our protagonist.

The trailer indicates that Iron Man, Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) are going to be the focus of the film. Captain America and Black Widow are shown formulating a plan, when Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) shows up at the Captain’s house and asks to be let in.

The important questions still need to be answered in Endgame. With half of the Avengers wiped out by Thanos, can the remaining team save the world? Will the other Avengers be brought back? Is Ant Man the key to survival?

Here’s how people reacted on Twitter:

Avengers: Endgame will premiere April 26.
