Following the revelation that Emmett (Timothy Hutton) ordered the murder of Nate Sr.’s death, Annalise (Viola Davis) began working with Tegan (Amirah Vann) to get to the bottom of it.
The two discovered Emmett’s phone records matched the ones the governor gave Annalise and a grainy photo of Nate Sr. meeting with a man, who looked a lot like Emmett from the back.
To try and get more information, Annalise went on a date with Emmett. However, Emmett revealed he bugged the office and knew she and Tegan thought he had ordered the murder, though he insisted he didn’t.
Meanwhile, Nate (Billy Brown), Frank (Charlie Weber) and Bonnie (Liza Weil) recovered video footage of the man in the prison, who turned out to be Laurel (Karla Souza)’s brother, Adrian.
Finally, in a shocking turn of events, Laurel received a package from who she assumed to be her mother, as she was believed to have been calling Laurel lately. The package contained locks of her mother’s hair, with the scalp still attached to it. With Laurel’s brother now involved in Nate Sr.’s murder and Laurel’s mother seemingly tortured or killed, there is surely more blood and secrets to be spilled in the season finale next week.
