A Middleport man was arrested and charged with aggravated murder of a Shade man whose body was discovered in Athens County Thursday.
Andy Doczi, 37, admitted to pointing a gun at Andrew T. Everett, 33, and firing one shot. Doczi led investigators to a wooded area in Meigs County where a firearm was discovered, according to an Athens County Sheriff’s office news release.
Everett was found dead with a single gunshot wound to his head outside a house on Fossil Rock Road.
Doczi, who was arrested and charged Friday, is currently being held at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail on a $1 million bond.
