Meigs County man indicted on four felonies, including aggravated murder, for killing of Shade man

A Meigs County man was indicted Monday on four felony charges in connection with the killing of a Shade man.

Andy O. Doczi, 37, was indicted on an unclassified felony of aggravated murder, an unclassified felony for murder, a third-degree felony for tampering with evidence and another third-degree felony for having weapons while under disability, according to the Athens County Clerk of Courts.

Doczi was arrested and charged for the aggravated murder of Andrew T. Everett, 33. Everett was found dead with a single gunshot wound to his head outside a house on Fossil Rock Road, according to a previous Post report.
