Today is Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019. Here’s what you need to know:
Get ready to be nostalgic, because Spotify has just revealed its top-streamed songs and artists of the decade.
On top of the songs list is Ed Sheerhan’s “Shape of You,” released in early 2017. Other songs that made the top five included “One Dance” by Drake, Kyla, WizKid and “rockstar” by 21 Savage and Post Malone.
Drake was the most streamed artist of the decade, although he didn’t make the top five in 2019. Billie Eilish was near the top of the year’s most streamed artists.
You can stream Spotify’s “Playlist of the Decade” and all of its nostalgic tunes online or via the Spotify app. Even though the decade is over, it’s songs will keep blaring at bars forever.
