After splitting a second consecutive series last weekend, Ohio (11-11, 5-7 Mid-American Conference) will look to notch its first MAC series win when it welcomes Eastern Michigan to Bob Wren for a four-game battle starting on Friday.
Opponent: Eastern Michigan (8-13, 4-8 MAC)
Time: 5 p.m. (Friday) 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. (Saturday) 1 p.m. (Sunday)
Place: Bob Wren Stadium (Athens, Ohio)
Ohio only swept one MAC opponent in 2019 and that team was Eastern Michigan. Over the course of three games, the Bobcats outscored the Eagles 20-6. Ohio hasn’t secured a series advantage in any of its three conference series against Bowling Green, Central Michigan and Toledo. The Bobcats won the first game in all three of those series, but couldn’t find away to end them with wins. Ohio will try to prove this weekend that it can finish just as strong as it starts.
