Ohio announced its 2021-22 nonconference schedule Monday, according to a press release on Tuesday.
The Bobcats begin their season Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. with a road trip to Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. Following its season opener, Ohio will play two more road games at Liberty and Cincinnati on Nov. 13 and Nov. 16, respectively, before returning to The Convo for its first home game on Nov. 20 against Mercyhurst. The Bobcats will then have two more home matchups against Florida A&M on Nov. 29 and Richmond on Dec. 4.
Ohio’s final three nonconference matchups will be at away and neutral sites, starting with a Dec. 15 game against Minnesota in Minneapolis. The Bobcats will then participate in the FIU Holiday Hoops Showdown where it will face UMass Lowell on Dec. 20 and Binghamton on Dec. 21.
Ohio’s 20-game conference schedule is slated to begin Dec. 29 with a road game against Miami. The Mid-American Conference tournament will take place in Cleveland starting with the quarterfinals on March 9.
