At 10:02 a.m. on May 21, the Ohio University Police Department responded to an unresponsive male on a lower patio outside of Baker Center, according to a report from the OUPD.
Both OUPD and APD officers found an unconscious, 15-year-old male with visible head injuries, which were presumed to be the result of a fall.
According to the report, the 15-year-old was then transported, by Athens County EMS, to O’Bleness Memorial Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
OUPD has no information to suggest foul play, but the incident is still under investigation.
