Ohio's D.J. Cooper was named to the All-Mid-American Conference First Team, the league announced Wednesday. He is part of an all-MAC East squad elected to the conference's top unit.

Cooper led the Bobcats in scoring and assists during the regular season, as he put up 14.2 points and 5.6 assists per outing.

Junior forward Ivo Baltic and redshirt junior guard Walter Offutt picked up all-MAC Honorable Mention. Baltic and Offutt were second and third on the team in scoring during the regular season.

The MAC East dominated the conference awards, as only three of the top 15 honorees hail from MAC West programs.

Ohio will open MAC Tournament play Thursday at 9:30 p.m. against the winner of Wednesday's game between Toledo and Central Michigan.
