As the 2012 Major League Baseball season is still in its infancy so to is the minor league season.It is time to take a look at how former Bobcats are faring in the minor leagues.
Gauntlett Eldemire- currently a member of the Lakewood Blue Claws, the single A- affliliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. He had played in 15 of the team's 17 games. Eldemire is batting .250 with 13 hits. He leads the team in stolen bases with 10 in just 17 games.
Robert Maddox- recently called up to the Dayton Dragons, the low-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. He has two hits with one RBI in 14 at-bats.
Marc Krauss- Currently with the Mobile Bay Bears, the double AA-affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Krauss began the 2012 seaon as a top-20 prospect in the organization as rated by Baseball Prospectus. Holds a .222 batting average and tied for the team lead with four homeruns.
