Here's what we know:
According to an article by ESPN's Jeff Goodman, Ohio coach Jim Christian is the "frontrunner" for the vacant head coach position at Boston College. Former head coach Steve Donahue was fired on March 18.
Goodman said that Christian interviewed for the job earlier this week.
Harvard coach Tommy Amaker, who was BC's top choice for the job, rejected the job offer three days ago, according to CBSsports.com's Matt Norlander.
An article published this morning on The Boston Globe's website said that St. Bonaventure coach Mark Schmidt and Syracuse assistant Mike Hopkins were two of the leading candidates.
In a tweet at 9:39 a.m., Goodman said that Schmidt and Hopkins were no longer in the running:
@GoodmanESPN: "St. Bonaventure's Mark Schmidt and Syracuse assistant Mike Hopkins are no longer options at BC, sources told ESPN."
Athens Messenger men's basketball reporter Jason Arkley published an article this morning and talked to Christian, who said he "wouldn't confirm, nor deny he had talked to Boston College."
"I'm not going to comment on that job or any job (opening)," Christian told Arkley.
We'll keep you posted on any updates.
