Sights and Sounds: Anti-Abortion Protest on October 18, 2022

On October 18, 2022, anti-abortion protesters set up signs in Howard Park, outside of Schoonover Center, and debated with students throughout the afternoon. Some students countered with signs of their own, some were inviting people to go vote early, and some made attempts to cover up the anti-abortion signs, as well as the visitor himself, with curtains. A glance at OU's new Pawprint Park

On Friday, October 7th, Ohio University officially opened Pawprint Park, located on South Green. The park features two pawprint-shaped outlines that can be seen from above, one of which is designated as a campus hammocking area with metal poles and shade screens, and the other serves as an open concrete and gravel space for students and communities on campus to gather and hold events.
