Athena Cinema updates its theaters with new renovations

The Athena Cinema in Uptown Athens has been a historic spot for many years. The cinema has been undergoing renovations to it's theaters over the last couple of months, with the third theatre opening just a few weeks ago. Students pile into Baker Center for Brine Time

Soil health rally sparks action in Athens

Libby's Bouquet Bar on Union Street

Libby is a junior here at Ohio University. She owns Libby's Pumpkin Patch, but due to the drought in southeast Ohio, she was not able to open this year. Instead, she created Libby's Bouquet Bar, a flower cart she parks on Union Street. Her father says the cart has been very popular and people especially love making their own bouquets. As the election results continue to come in throughout the night, there are different watch parties being held in Athens. How voters can stay safe on election day

Although many people have participated in early voting, there will still be millions of citizens voting on election day. People have expressed concern of unsafe environments at the polls, and being scared to vote by absentee ballot due to ballot drop boxes being burned around the country. Tavolino’s efforts to support the Athens community

A local business in Athens, Tavolino, receives donations following a break in.
