No genre of music is as synonymous with a particular geographic region as bluegrass is with Appalachia. Stemming from the folk music of Irish and Scottish settlers in the region mixed with African traditions brought by formerly enslaved people, bluegrass focuses on acoustic instruments such as the banjo and fiddle with an emphasis on musical dexterity.

Basketball is in Peyton Guice’s blood. Her father is a former professional basketball player who has turned the family name into legend in Guice’s hometown of Westerville, Ohio. It was only natural when Guice decided to pursue basketball at the college level, committing to play for Ohio University, just about an hour and a half away from her family.

One thing you can’t have enough of in the NFL is elite pass rushers. Having a dynamic group of edge defenders can be the difference between winning or losing games because of the ability to get the opponent's quarterback on the ground. Many teams at the start of the draft are in desperate need of someone who can provide pressure for their defense and because of that an early run of the top pass rushers in the draft would not be surprising.

When I hear the word “sustainability,” I associate it with things like the environment, businesses, materials, repurposing and health. That is because sustainability has become an incredibly popular term in the environmental science world and business world. Most large corporations have some kind of sustainability or environmental commitment page on their websites because they understand sustainability is an important consideration for consumers.

I am a person of many interests, including photography, film and music, but one has persisted and grown incredibly in the past five years: cycling. Even in a cramped dorm room with a roommate, I still manage to keep my bike right underneath my bed, so I can grab it at a moment's notice.
