After a 3-1 start to the season, Ohio DII Hockey sits at a 4-3 record on the season. With two shootout losses in its last two games, the first of which featured Ohio coming up short to Penn State last Saturday. The second of those came Thursday in its late-night matchup against Dayton, who entered the game 1-4.

It was a turbulent weekend for Ohio University DII Hockey during its trip to Happy Valley, where the visitors suffered from lackluster defensive stretches and an inability to take advantage of penalty advantages.

After falling to Bowling Green on Friday, Ohio gets back on track with a 4-1 victory back in Athens, putting its record at 3-1 on the season.
Over the weekend, Ohio faced off against Cincinnati in its first 2023-24 season series. In two games, Ohio was able to outscore Cincinnati 12-4 and take home back-to-back wins to start its season 2-0.
Following a strong 2022-23 season, the Bobcats are looking to continue their dominance in the DII American College Hockey Association.

With college football off to the races, fall sports are starting to get into full swing. With that, comes the long-awaited return of Bobcats DII hockey, and the season opener against the University of Cincinnati on Oct. 6.
