Post Letter: Senate members demand an apology

We, the commissioners of Ohio University’s Student Senate, would like to express our collective disappointment in the recent events that have taken place at OU. For many of us, this is not our first year serving the students of OU. In the past, we have prided ourselves on working with the administration to make the university a better, more student-centered environment. We have striven for fairness, inclusion and participation in regard to decision making.  By coming to our general body meeting and lying to student representatives, the administration made it clear that they do not share these goals. By giving almost $500,000 worth of raises to the 10 highest-paid administrators this year, they showed that students are not their priority.

We live in a suburb of Cleveland, where both my son and I were born and raised. In other words, we are Ohioans. Ohio University has a wonderful reputation as a great medical school and naturally, my son put it on his short list of schools to apply to.

OUPD: Pedals to Patrol

Jumping curbs and cutting through alleys are just a few of the norms for Ohio University police officer Kevin Frith on his average night patrolling the greens, dorms and streets that form OU’s campus.

Field Hockey: Bobcats fail to halt No. 10 Wildcats

A dejected Ohio squad listened to coach Neil Macmillan give a postgame speech Sunday and left the huddle in tears and frustration. Although it’s not known what Macmillan said to the team, the reaction was indicative of how the season has progressed for Ohio.
