Jerry Jackson, who died Jan. 13 at age 84, led Ohio University to the Elite Eight in 1964, but the Rendville native spent the next four decades as a beloved teacher and leader in Southeast Ohio.
Chelsea’s Real Food, a food truck operated by Chelsea Hindenach, produces gluten and dairy-free meals for all to enjoy. The truck sources all ingredients from nearby farms, fostering healthy, clean food that supports the local economy.
More than 40 artisans showcased handmade work at this year’s Holiday Shoppe, hosted by the Athens Art Guild. The Shoppe also featured live performances and a raffle.
The newly relocated vintage shop offers trendy and affordable secondhand clothing options for students and local residents.
