Good morning,

The Tide Pod challenge will never die, apparently: New York lawmakers have proposed legislation to make laundry pods, including Tide Pods, appear less like snacks.

New York Sen. Brad Hoylman, D-Manhattan, and Assemblywoman Aravella Simotas, D-Astoria, proposed a bill that would call for manufacturers to make detergent packets look less edible.

"We’re asking for all laundry detergent pods to be uniform in color," Hoylman said Tuesday. "We don’t need them to look like Gummy Bears in order for consumers to use them."
