After undergoing renovations, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Quicken Loans Arena will get a new name to match the renovated building’s new persona.
Quicken Loans Arena will become Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. The building’s renovations included an expansion of public space and a new glass facade. The renovations give the building the feeling of a fieldhouse and the organization said that the new name will tie in well as a result.
On Monday, the Cavs teased a “major announcement” in a press release. The formal announcement was made Tuesday in a video presentation.
