The Athens Police Department received a rape report on Monday.
A 20-year-old woman reported the incident, which occurred on the south side of Athens on Friday, Sept. 6. The suspect is known, but APD is not releasing any other information.
This is the second rape report APD has received since the school year began. The Ohio University Police Department has received one rape report as well.
APD has received three total sexual assault reports and OUPD has received three sexual assault reports.
