Brenen’s Coffee Cafe on Court Street announced Thursday on Twitter it will temporarily be closing after two employees tested positive for COVID-19.
Brenen’s, 38 S. Court St., originally tweeted it only had employee test positive and that its hours would be shortened. It announced its second employee case and closing just about an hour later.
Brenen’s said on Twitter it has been and is currently in contact with the health department and is following its guidance.
Athens County has reported 447 COVID-19 cases, 53 of which are still active.
