A look at the weekend:
There’s not much to say about the upcoming weekend, besides Athens’ potential to get its first major glimpse of summer. High pressure will park itself over the eastern U.S., which, combined with strong southerly flow, will usher in temperatures in the high 70s and low 80s for the whole weekend, with lows around 60. It’ll be a dry, sunny and beautiful last weekend in Athens before finals week!

For the most part, Athens is looking at a relatively dry and spring-like week next week. A system will cross the region midweek, likely Tuesday into Wednesday, bringing a decent chance for rain. Aside from that, it will remain dry the rest of the week. Highs will slowly decrease, but will remain in the mid-50s to mid-60s throughout most of the week, with lows around 40.
