With summer fast approaching, Netflix is gearing up a line-up of new shows and movies that are bound to end up on your list. It may be time to say goodbye to classics like Dawson’s Creek and Shrek, but here are the titles to keep an eye out for this month:
Forrest Gump (May 1)
The Academy award-winning film starring Tom Hanks will be a classic addition to Netflix. Following the story of Alabama-born man Forrest Gump, the movie features numerous significant events in American history as Forrest grows from a boy to a man.
Along for the Ride (May 6)
Based on the young adult novel by Sarah Dessen with the same name, Along for the Ride will be another Netflix Original in the collection. A classic meet-cute takes place between Auden and Eli, two teens who are insomniacs. Intending to enjoy the last summer before college, the duo embarks on nightly adventures in their seaside town of Colby.
Workin’ Moms: Season 6 (May 10)
The Canadien sitcom is back for another season full of family difficulties and the challenges of motherhood. The latest season will follow Kate’s latest struggles on the job, a move for the Carlsons and more.
Stranger Things: Season 4 - Volume 1 (May 27)
After nearly three years of waiting, the latest volume of Stranger Things is set to arrive on Netflix. This season will be composed of nine episodes, the first volume being released May 27 and the second on July 1. The cast will continue to consist of Winona Ryder, David Harbour and the rest of the current cast.
