Athens Fire Department Headquarters set to open soon

The new and improved Athens Fire Department Headquarters, located near the Stimson Ave. roundabout is opening soon. The new station includes many public facilities, a boat launch into the river, a sculpture walk, a fitness area and much more. The Band, "Judge Russo" returns to Athens

"Brake for Breakfast" supports breast cancer awareness

The "Brake for Breakfast" event takes place on the first Wednesday of October every year. This is the event's fourth year in Athens, and they've had major success. They offer a free breakfast, free informational packets about cancer and they even offer mammograms on site.
