Ohio (10-7-2, 6-4-1 Mid-American Conference) took on Miami (9-4-6, 4-2-5 MAC) for the first round of the MAC Tournament Sunday. Ohio finished its regular season with the fourth best conference record in the MAC, putting it in position to host Miami, who earned the fifth seed. Despite playing at home and being the team with the better record, Ohio fell to Miami 1-0 and ended its season.

Ohio (10-6-2, 6-4-1 Mid-American Conference) traveled to Akron (3-9-4, 2-7-2 MAC) for its final regular season match Thursday. The match for Ohio was a must-win, as it was placed sixth in the MAC standings before the match.

For Ohio, this season has been one with mixed results. In a year with championship aspirations, Ohio has started 3-4-1 in Mid-American Conference play. One strength the team has found is in its outside backs, Maia Kaufman and Rayann Pruss, both of whom are freshmen.

On Thursday, Ohio hosted Northern Illinois in its fifth Mid-American Conference match of the season. Ohio entered the match on a 2-match win streak after starting conference play with back-to-back losses. Northern Illinois was also 2-2 in MAC play entering the match.

On Sunday, Ohio traveled to Ypsilanti, Michigan, to face off against Eastern Michigan and came away with a 3-2 win. Ohio, coming into this match after a win over Miami, was 1-2 in Mid-American Conference play this season. Eastern Michigan was 1-1-1 in the MAC coming into the match.
