Taylor Swift’s 12th album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” falls short of the lyrical and stylistic standard Swift has built throughout her career. While the production shines, the awkward lyrics, internet jargon and forced sensuality show an artistic decline from one of the most celebrated songwriters and storytellers.
