Breakups are not the end of the world

It's over. You are officially done, and now you are sitting in your room thinking about how you are going to continue breathing without him or her. You go to your refrigerator and grab the pint of Phish Food ice cream, curl up on your bed, put in A Walk to Remember and wallow in your own heartbreak. Sometimes this wallowing can go on for days, weeks even. Well, it's time to pick up the pieces and stop feeling sorry for yourself. It's time to move on and continue living life. Now is the perfect time to look back on your relationship and realize why it didn't work, make some changes and jump back into the game.

Dismissed

The Ohio University Faculty Senate has voted to reject the recently proposed replacement of the general education system. As the new system would arguably have been even more complicated than the current, the decision is a sound one. Over-the-top acting stifles movie

An otherwise great movie isn't quite so great when the lead actor puts on a weak performance. Nonetheless, it is not as if the movie is suddenly not worthwhile. Think of Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese's Gangs of New York for a good example. But in a movie with a premise that's mediocre at best, poor acting can make the film downright atrocious.
