Evangelical Preachers prompt counter-protest on College Green

LGBTQIA+ flags were spotted across Ohio University’s College Green Wednesday when students came to rally against a small group of evangelical preachers expressing homophobic and transphobic beliefs. Students congregated in front of the protesters holding pride flags and signs for the university’s LGBT center and counter-protesting in creative ways like setting up a DJ booth. Vermin Supreme screeches outside Athens courthouse

Internet-famous political satirist and presidential candidate Vermin Supreme visited the Athens courthouse Friday to promise students free ponies and mandatory toothbrushing. Supreme is a perennial presidential candidate and has run as an independent Republican, Democrat and most recently as a Libertarian in 2020. His speeches consist mostly of nonsense and so do his outfits. Friday, Supreme donned his famous boot on the head, a blue T-shirt, jeans, a sparkly American vest that had seen considerable wear, about six or seven ties and a green, white and purple tutu. How Hot Does Bentley Hall Get?

Bentley Hall is said to be one of the hottest places on campus. According to a previous Post report, Bentley Hall, located at 4 President St., has been experiencing higher temperatures as a result of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, or HVAC, complications.
