The Post in partnership with The Athens County Independent co-hosted, "Journalism and the First Amendment". The training was designed for journalists and presented by The First Amendment Clinic at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Topics covered in the workshop include: Editorial Discretion & Prior Restraint (5:02-36:19), Student Speech (36:58-1:06:25), Court Access (1:07:48-1:39:07), Your Rights To Gather News (1:40:10-2:16:22), and Defamation (2:16:46-2:41:15). According to the National Library of Medicine, one in five veterans lives alone, and 57% of veterans reported feeling lonely at least some of the time. Holidays like Thanksgiving can be difficult for former members of the armed forces. William Nobrega is one of 3,255 veterans in Athens County, and he wants to support as many fellow veterans as possible.
