“Birthright” is the name for the program that offers free trips to Israel to Jewish college students. It offers trips to students aged 18-32, and the trips are seven to 10 days long. The majority of the trips take place during school breaks, and tend to combine two or three schools’ groups and combine them on a bus.

The women’s ultimate frisbee program was established at Ohio University in the ‘90s. It coined its current name, Stacked Cats, in 2001. The team has never been to a national tournament, but that is all about to change starting Dec. 17.

Outdoor Pursuits is the adventure recreation and education program through Ohio University’s Campus Recreation. The organization provides students, faculty, staff and the Athens community with many opportunities for healthy outdoor recreational and leadership development activities. It also focuses on experiential learning and environmental awareness.

Ohio University loves being known. The school goes out of its way to embrace every brand it can: posting graphics of Rufus eating Miami University’s mascot after the Nov. 2 football win; embracing its family reputation with Dad’s Weekend; unveiling new banners still celebrating last year’s March Madness success and more. However, the administration avoids one of OU’s biggest reputations like it’s Jeff Hill: the party school brand.

It’s not uncommon for public figures to have their private life scrutinized; intimate relationships, family life and medical conditions have all been examined under figurative microscopes by the press and the internet alike. Many more public figures have had scandals scrutinized, though. We all remember the infamous Ariana Grande donut-licking incident, Lil Nas X’s Satan shoes situation and when the internet unearthed Chrissy Teigen’s vitriolic tweets.
