Gigi De Buselle wore a crown of roses when she was crowned Ohio University’s 1964 Homecoming Queen. De Buselle was born in Germany but hailed from Cleveland, and Saturday, Oct. 24, 1964, she hoisted a trophy during the homecoming football game against Miami.

This Friday is a lucky day to be a Marvel fan and Ohio University Student. Thanks to OU’s Division of Diversity and Inclusion, Multicultural Center, Black Student Cultural Programming Board, Student Senate and the Office of the President, all three theaters at the Athena Cinema have been rented out for free screenings of Marvel’s “Wakanda Forever” to all who have an Ohio ID.

Linguistics Colloquium | The Southern Ohio Language Project: Where We Are Today at 12:55 p.m., hosted virtually by Ohio University’s College of Arts and Sciences. Explore language in Southern Ohio with Michelle O’Malley and the 2021 Southern Ohio Language Project Lab Team.
