Ohio finished its season Monday afternoon with a 95-71 loss against UMass in the consolation final of the WNIT Tournament at Bojangles’ Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Bobcats (15-10, 11-6 Mid-American Conference) struggled defensively in the loss.

Ohio will travel to Buffalo on Saturday for its first game in two weeks after its last two were postponed. The Bobcats’ (12-6, 10-5 Mid-American Conference) rematch against Buffalo will be the final push for better seeding in the upcoming MAC Tournament in Cleveland.

Ohio got its revenge in dominant fashion against Ball State on Wednesday night in Muncie, Indiana. The last time the two met, the Cardinals came out with a slim three-point overtime win. This time, the Bobcats left no doubt in the 88-66 win without their second-leading scorer, Erica Johnson.

The Bobcats (9-5, 7-4 Mid-American Conference) are on one of their best stretches of the season with four wins in the last five games.
