Most Athenians recognize the contribution of the student population to quality of life in Athens. Quality of life can be detected in the interests and enthusiasm of our diverse population. I thought he was creepy on the silver screen, but he is even creepier in real life. The man I am referring to is 51-year-old Doug Hutchison. He is most memorable from playing the role of prison guard, Percy Wetmore alongside Tom Hanks in the R-rated movie The Green Mile.

Life Lessons from Melissa: College luxuries should not be taken for granted

“You have four years to be irresponsible here. Relax. Work is for people with jobs. You’ll never remember class time, but you’ll remember time you wasted hanging out with your friends. So, stay out late. Go out on a Tuesday with your friends when you have a paper due Wednesday. Spend money you don’t have. Drink ’til sunrise. The work never ends, but college does.”
