The organization Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, or PFLAG, put on a rally in front of the Athens County Courthouse on Monday — the day before the United States Supreme Court begins hearing arguments in two landmark cases on marriage equality.

Post Column: High Fest was (probably) a party to remember

Boy howdy, what an exciting weekend this was! As per The Post’s longstanding tradition of addressing only the most important campus events, I’ve been asked by my editors to describe the events of High Fest for our loyal readers. There is, of course, one problem with that plan, namely the fact that I didn’t actually attend High Fest and am still not entirely sure what a “fest” is.

Ohio University officials met with city, county and township officials Monday night to discuss the creation of an advisory committee that could help President Roderick McDavis on further Ridges development.
