I have spent one semester at Ohio University. After going home for Winter Break, I concluded that you can go just about anywhere in Ohio. You get the same experience no matter where you are. OU is no exception, so here is why I do not think OU is fun.

Spring Semester at Ohio University began Jan. 16, bringing new classes, schedules and beginnings for every student. The start of a new semester can be overwhelming. Things can pile up quickly, from moving back to campus to starting new classes and getting into new routines.

College wrestling has never been a sport for the faint of heart. The difficult weight programs, strenuous competition that comes in waves and having to keep up with academics are just a few of the roadblocks that would make most ordinary people throw in the towel. One of the most unnoticed aspects of sports, especially collegiate sports, is travel. For Ohio wrestling, travel is one of the aspects that can make or break an athlete.

Graduating high school and moving on to college has started a whirlwind of questions about life and time that are beginning to consume me. My fear of growing old and becoming an adult is ultimately driven by a fear of death. And for once, I know I am not alone. It is a natural human instinct to fear death and wonder about "the great beyond." Most people are naturally, even subconsciously, afraid of change; and death is the biggest change of all.

When Ohio Head Coach Tim Albin pulls into his driveway after a long day at work, his dog, Macey, begins jumping with excitement to greet her dad at the door. Macey doesn’t care whether the football team wins or loses; she doesn’t care if Tim Albin had a bad day at the office. She’s just happy that he’s home.

This year, Medical Students for Choice is celebrating its 30th year of operation as an umbrella organization that has over 220 chapters in medical schools around the world. One of those chapters is at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, or OUHCOM. OUHCOM’s chapter works to provide reproductive rights education to future physicians and actively makes a difference in the medical school regarding abortions.

Ohio (1-1) tested itself with a road game against Cleveland State, a preseason top-5 Horizon League team, and lost on Saturday. The Bobcats took on a risk when scheduling one of the better mid-major programs in college basketball on the road rather than a low-major program or even a Division II program.

Everything was riding on this moment for both Ohio and senior heavyweight Jordan Greer. Ohio had wrestled its way back into the match against Chattanooga in the opening match of its Tri-Meet. After facing a massive deficit early, Ohio crept back to make things interesting after a tech fall secured by Zayne Lehman in the 184-pound weight class, followed by a pin by Austin Starr in the 197-pound weight class. The score sat at 19-17 in favor of Chattanooga. As Greer heard his name come over the public address system in The Convo, coach Joel Greenlee uttered to him a simple message: win.

Patient reporters burst into the newsroom last night with the final election results as the news section worked hard to update The Post’s readers with the results of Election Day as quickly as possible. The results revealed not only the winning candidates and status of issues, but also that Athens County had the largest off-year election turnout of this century. Younger voters will vote in off-year elections, but they need to feel there is a purpose to their vote.

By now, most of Generation Z has watched movies like “Pitch Perfect,” “Easy A,” “The Perks Of Being a Wallflower,” “Superbad” and “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.” These films contain relatable storylines and humorous characters and have become staples in this generation, as many people can lean on them for their emotional well-being.
