Admittedly, I have only just gotten back into baseball this current season. Even more embarrassing to admit however, is that I am a Pirates fan. Pay attention to that line. I am a Pirates fan, but not a proud Pirates fan. Bob Nutting is one of the top five worst sports owners in America, but I digress. Unfortunately, the baseball played in October is the postseason, and the Pirates have not made so little as a wild card berth since 2015. I miss the days of competitive baseball in Pittsburgh, but since I can’t talk about that, I will go on a rant instead.

Hopefully, by seeing this article’s headline, something buried deep within your memory sparked, as kids adored this movie in the early 2000s. The reason you may have forgotten about “Scary Godmother: Halloween Spooktakular” is that it never had a theatrical release and was primarily shown on Cartoon Network. This movie went straight to DVD, so you needed to buy it in order to watch it outside of October. Despite this limitation, it was aired a lot during the Halloween season which made it possible for kids to watch the movie multiple times within a single month. Because of this, you may need a refresher or an introduction to what this movie is, so let’s recap and review this classic.

Created by Patrick McHale and released in November of 2014, "Over the Garden Wall" quickly carved a niche for itself amongst audiences young and old. The catchy songs, zany characters and silly jokes land well amongst younger audiences, but there is still something for adults, too. Morbid themes, a whimsical yet beautiful aesthetic and the nostalgic atmosphere harkening back to autumns of the past really hit home for older audiences.

While it may seem like another detour at first, “She-Hulk” confronts its plot head-on in The Retreat. While it might not spell out exactly where the show is heading going into its final two episodes, and with next week almost certainly seeing the return of Daredevil, this week’s episode takes the time to be a bit more serious. It develops Jen into a more well-rounded character while simultaneously taking the plot in a dark but not necessarily surprising direction.
