City Council members also discussed the development of a preschool and Bailey’s Trail System.
The Athens debate will be held at Nelson Court on Oct. 30.
Out-of-state voters had to be registered by Oct. 9.
All cases involving fentanyl would be treated the same under the new bill.

Issue 3 is a school levy that would renovate and rebuild several schools in the Athens City School District.
Student Senate passed four resolutions and heard a presentation from Board of Trustee members.
The body discussed budget and a health insurance survey and passed two resolutions.
Student Senate will also look to pass three resolutions.
