Textbooks become passports and walks across campus become adventures in a new country. As scholars pack their bags and board their planes, they embark on a rich cultural and academic journey: a study abroad experience.

Students celebrate Earth Day with events and lifestyle changes to remind everyone to treat every day like Earth Day. The Office of Sustainability shares what Earth Day means to them and some things everyone can do to help heal the state of the planet.

O.U.R.S engages students in campus life, opportunities

The Ohio University Recruitment Society, or O.U.R.S, has been a student organization at Ohio University for almost 40 years. O.U.R.S is dedicated to recruiting multicultural students and ensuring they have resources and a community to return to for years to come. 


Drug screenings prepare nursing students for future

Some students at Ohio University are required to take drug tests in order to continue with their major. Nursing students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing take a drug test each year and will continue to take tests throughout their professional career.
