The individual who reviewed Janet Jackson's new release Discipline clearly has little or no knowledge of or expertise in contemporary popular music or r&b and instead resorted to personal attacks on the artist for supposedly shoddy work ethics. The Post should be more discerning when assigning individuals to comment upon artistic work, especially when that uninformed published review has the ability to negatively affect the livelihood of a professional performer.
