Family ties lure Mangen to Ohio

Troy Mangen, a tight end who has strong ties to the Bobcats has become the eighth member of Ohio University’s 2013 recruiting class. The 6’5 225 Mangen from Northmont high school averaged 3.5 tackles per game as a defensive end and 4 yards a carry as a tight end last year. Mangen’s father Mike and uncle Doug played for the Bobcats, each ranking first and eight respectively on Ohio’s career tackles list.

Men's basketball: Cooper to showcase skills at CP3 camp

Ohio senior D.J. Cooper participated in the Chris Paul CP3 Elite Guard Camp this weekend, which took place in Winston-Salem N.C.  The camp is designed to allow high school and college players to hone their skills with special instruction, some of which comes from Paul himself.
