Famodu credits award to teammates

Senior Toye Famodu was recently named MAC Player of the Week for her efforts against Northern Illinois and Western Michigan. Famodu tallied two goals over the weekend to help lead the Bobcats to first place in the MAC. The award was something, coach Stacy Strauss believes was well-earned.

Marching 110 goes viral with Party Rock

Ohio University's Marching 110 lived up to their name as 'The Most Exciting Band In The Land' with their rendition of LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" during the halftime show of Ohio's 17-10 win over Kent State on Saturday.

Famodu Named MAC Player of the Week

Ohio's Toye Famodu took home a pair of goals and a pair of wins this weekend to be named MAC's Co-offensive player of the week.  Famodu scored two of the four goals this past weekend in wins against Western Michigan and Northern Illinois.

Hockey: Ohio sits 2nd in CSCHL standings

After three games the Bobcats currently sit second in the Central States Collegiate Hockey League standings, seven points behind Iowa State, which has played three more games than Ohio. The Bobcats open up their CSCHL ledger for 2011-12 at home against the Indiana Hoosiers Oct. 14.

Football: Tettleton earns MAC honors again

Ohio quarterback Tyler Tettleton did not play during the final five minutes of the game Saturday, but his performance during the first 55 was enough for him to be named the Mid-American Conference East Division Offensive Player of the Week.

Ohio golf teams host golf fundraiser Monday in Westerville

After playing in two golf tournaments, its time for the Ohio Bobcats men’s golf team to take a break from the fall season, while still living on the fringe. On Monday, Oct. 3rd, the Ohio men’s and women’s golf teams will host their 21st annual Bobcat Open golf fundraiser at The Lakes Golf and Country Club in Westerville Ohio, which benefits each team respectively. The outing is a scramble with a shotgun start that begins at 12:00 p.m. Teams participating in the scramble will be paired with one Ohio University golfer.
